You hear a lot of talk about Americans and even the residents of some other countries being workaholics, but most people do like to take a vacation now and then. About 45% of Americans take a summer vacation and 78% of trips taken in the U.S. are for leisure purposes. When you are planning for your trip, one of the major decisions you have to make is where you are going to stay. There are a few different choices you can make, but if you are going anywhere near the ocean, you will want to consider the option to rent beach condos.
One of the biggest benefits of beach condo rentals is the cost. The average hotel room cost in the U.S. is $120 per room per night, and that’s not accounting for the higher rates that you pay to stay on the beach. If you are staying a week or more, renting oceanfront condos can be cheaper. You typically can find a decent-sized condo for less than $1,000 a week, which is likely to be cheaper than a hotel room that’s on the beach.
Another big advantage when you rent beach condos is the space you have. When you rent a hotel room, even if you get a suite, you have maybe two rooms at best, which doesn’t offer a lot of space for a family with children. You also more than likely only have one bathroom for everyone to share, which isn’t ideal. When you rent beach condos, you get much more space, including extra bedrooms, potentially extra bathrooms and a kitchen.
An additional benefit of vacation condo rentals is the privacy and peace and quiet you get. When you stay in a hotel, you are in close quarters with your neighbors, with rooms on either side and potentially above and below you. You also have people constantly walking past your room to go to and from your room. In addition to the noise factor, there is potentially a safety issue as well. When you rent a condo, you get your own space that is a little more private than the average hotel room.
All of these benefits can make beach condos the right option for you and your family to stay in when you are on vacation.
